Bayfield Art Escape

From painters, jewelers, potters, and sculptors to woodworkers and performers, Bayfield’s high-quality art scene is worth celebrating. “Art Escape” is a nine-day celebration of all things art across Bayfield County and Madeline Island held September 7 - 15, 2024.

Growing microgreens for the beginner

Growing microgreens is a fun way to add fresh flavors and a tender crunch to your dishes! Microgreens are young, immature densely grown seedlings of selected vegetables and herbs. Join local gardener, Andrew from “Growing Duluth” for this class geared toward the beginner. He will go over supplies, plant selection, care and harvesting. After serving over 39 years in the Secret Service and protecting both President Bushes and their families, Carl Wahl will share the history of the Secret Service, with a special look at the assassination attempts and motives.
