Concerts by the Lake

Bayfield’s Concerts by the Lake occur every Tuesday and Thursday, from June 17 through August 28, 2025 in Memorial Park. The music runs from 6-8 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs to the park. Dogs are also welcome on a leash. The concert could be moved indoors if the weather does not cooperate. A location will be announced the day of the event on signage around Bayfield.

Great Fur Trade Rendezvous

Step back in time at the Great Folle Avoine Fur Trade Rendezvous, a vibrant living history experience of over 100 authentic pre-1840s encampments along the banks of the Yellow River where two competing fur trade companies wintered from 1802 to 1804. Take a tour of the re-created fur posts, then visit with reenactors showcasing essential period skills. Witness the smoke and thunder of black powder shooting and the silent flight of traditional archery, and try your hand at tomahawk throwing.
