Finnish–Russian War documentary

Revisit history in an Emmy award winning film: Fire and Ice. In November 1939, Finland was invaded by Russia. No one expected this tiny nation to resist the largest military in the world. It shows how the Finnish–Russian Winter War of 1939 influenced World War II and how Finland mobilized against the world's largest military power.

'The Freshman' silent film with live accompaniment

Come see and hear what it was like to experience a silent film back in the 1920’s! Theatre organist Jelani Eddington returns to Duluth’s First United Methodist Church (aka “The Coppertop”) to accompany the silent film “The Freshman." This comedy gem stars Harold Lloyd as a college freshman trying to become popular by joining the school football team.
