Bayfield Art Escape

From painters, jewelers, potters, and sculptors to woodworkers and performers, Bayfield’s high-quality art scene is worth celebrating. “Art Escape” is a nine-day celebration of all things art across Bayfield County and Madeline Island held September 7 - 15, 2024.

Indigenous Alumni Speakers Series: Dennis White

A 1969 graduate with a degree in mathematics, White teaches mathematics and Native American art at Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University near Hayward, Wisconsin. In 2016, he was presented with an award from the Wisconsin Indian Education Association as The Indian Educator of the Year.
