Lake Superior Estuarium OPEN

Summer Open Hours! The Lake Superior Estuarium is a gateway to the headwaters of the Great Lakes. Beautiful interactive displays tell stories of the St. Louis River Estuary, Lake Superior, and the communities on their shores. The exhibit hall includes a play area for young children, maps to orient you to the largest estuary on Lake Superior, and information to help you get out and explore.

Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival

This 400-meter race is a straight course that takes place in the Superior Bay off of Barker's Island in Superior. There is ample space for spectators and all the activities associated with the festival. The event is family friendly, has no admission fee for spectators, and is tons of fun.

Parents' Night Out

Looking for some quiet time this summer, or maybe you've been looking to plan a night out? Bring your kids to the Superior YMCA for Parents' Night Out! Parents will enjoy some kid free time and kids will enjoy fun and engaging activities with limited screen time. This event is for kids between the ages of 5 and 12. Activities include swimming, gym time, and arts and crafts.
