All the Marilyn Monroes of Duluth and beyond are invited to compete in a look-alike contest held during the Duluth Art Institute’s Annual Fundraiser Gala, at the Duluth Depot, at 5-8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2.
The Contest is free and open to all participants dressed in Marilyn attire. (Gala tickets, on sale for $100, include dinner and other activities. Marilyn contestants will be admitted for the contest only, without dinner.)
The Grand prize is a night’s lodging at the Sheraton Duluth Hotel (a $379 value). Costumes will be judged by the audience for likeness to Marilyn Monroe in appearance and/or personality and performance.
