There’s trouble in River City when a fast-talking salesman gets his heart stolen by the town librarian! Con-man Harold Hill has made small town River City, Iowa his next mark. The community (full of big personalities) buys into his scheme of a boys’ band including instruments, uniforms, and lessons, none of which the Music Man intends to deliver. But librarian Marian Paroo is onto him.

Let's See What You See Cellphone Photography Exhibit

The popular Let’s See What You See cellphone photography exhibition is back for its second run and will be opening with a reception Friday, July 13th in the Dr. Robert Powless Cultural Center, from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Over 100 photographers illustrating resilience in the face of climate change will be on display from over 50 community members.
