Downtown Arts Walk

This is a walkable, year round event, welcome to all, the final Friday of each month! Join us for a night of art & entertainment, featuring 25 + downtown art galleries, artist studios, cultural centers, eateries, bars and performance venues, as Duluth celebrates downtown arts culture! Brought to you by the Downtown Duluth Arts Collective.

Niiyo-wiij-Anishinaabeg (Four Friends)

Fifty pivotal works by three prolific artists, Carl Gawboy, George Morrison and Joe Geshick. The exhibit celebrates the individual's journey including the viewer, the fourth friend. A small opening reception begins 5 p.m. on June 29 in conjunction with the downtown Duluth Art Walk. A closing reception takes place 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, to include a larger program with pipe ceremony, feast, speakers and presentation of gifts in The Great Hall in the Depot.
