Free open skate

Come skate with your friends and family to lively tunes, socialize, and get a good workout. Children under the age of 10 should be accompanied by an adult. Adults are free to walk the arena track above the rink while skating is going on. Limited ice skates will be available to use.

Wednesday Night at the Races

The Young Athletes Foundation and Grandma's Marathon invite children 14 and under to lace up their shoes and take part in the 2019 Wednesday Night at the Races. This free race series begins Wednesday at the Bayfront Festival Park and continues every Wednesday evening through August 28 (locations vary weekly, see schedule below). Registration is between 5 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. each race night, and the races begin at 6 p.m.
