AICHO Food & Art Market

Join AICHO as we host the first of three community Food and Art Markets on Saturday, July 22, August 12, and September 16 from 9 am - 12 pm in the large parking lot located at 231 W. 2nd Street (across the street from AICHO). This year we have 37 vendors registered! We will also have fun cultural (free) activities that the whole family will enjoy! In our efforts to bring justice and healthy foods to our local food systems and community - EBT and SNAP benefits will be accepted for healthy food produce (does not apply for hot & ready to eat food) in which people will receive $30 worth of food for $10 with SNAP/EBT payment. Anamakaageg! Everyone is welcome! Support local! Support Native, BIPOC and Local food producers and artists/entrepreneurs.

Saturdays at the Farm - Herbal lip balm Workshop - Saturday, August 12th from 10:00 - 11:30 am Learn how to identify and use healing plants around the Ecolibrium3 Urban Farm to make your own herbal lip balm! Family-friendly activity. Participants under 16 years of age must have an adult present. All supplies including lip balm containers will be provided but feel free to bring your own container.

Lake Superior Estuarium OPEN

Summer Open Hours! The Lake Superior Estuarium is a gateway to the headwaters of the Great Lakes. Beautiful interactive displays tell stories of the St. Louis River Estuary, Lake Superior, and the communities on their shores. The exhibit hall includes a play area for young children, maps to orient you to the largest estuary on Lake Superior, and information to help you get out and explore.

Music by Charlie Parr and more at this all day music fest. Learn Finnish culture and history throughout our Heritage Site. Great food and fun for all ages, including Duluth Goat Yoga! Shop local artists in our outdoor marketplace.

Meet the Artist at Two Loons

Two Loons – Art, Gifts, Apparel, and Décor will be hosting over 30 of our artists this summer as part of our 2023 “Meet the Artist” series. Two Loons represents over 200 local and regional artists whose work encompasses a wide range of media and styles focused on the natural beauty, history, and the lifestyle of our Northland and North Shore Environment.
