Neighborhood Clean Up Day

In the spirit of Earth Day, help us maintain the beauty of our shared spaces! On Saturday, May 16, we encourage residents to participate in a Neighborhood Clean Up Day. Simply bring your own trash bag to any local park, trail, or green space and help clear away debris. Please dispose of collected trash in your personal bin or a designated park receptacle.

Carlton County Animal Rescue rummage sale/microchip event/bake sale

Discover hidden treasurers like clothes, books, decor and more! There will be a microchip clinic and bake sale as well. Stay tuned for more details. If you have any unwanted household items, drop off for rummage sale will be Wednesday May 13th 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Thurs. 4:30 pm - 6:30pm, and Friday 8 am - noon. All proceeds to benefit the animal rescue.

Fix-it Clinic

Just because it’s broken doesn’t mean it belongs in the trash can! Whether it’s cracked, torn, stained, missing a piece, or just not working properly, broken things can be made good as new with the right skills and tools. Resource Renew is partnering with the Duluth Folk School and Duluth Makerspace to host Fixit Clinics where you can learn how to fix your stuff!
