Concert celebrating the rich variety and diversity of people, perspectives and musical styles that have shaped 250 years of American choral music, feature the UW-Superior Chorale and guest singers, as well as the Lake Superior College Concerto Choir.
The program will feature works by composers Randall Thompson, Morten Lauridsen, and Samuel Barber, among others. It will also include a choral arrangement of Paul Simon’s American Tune; an arrangement of a Lakota lullaby by Linthicum-Blackhorse; and the spiritual Ain’a That Good News.
The performance will feature the UW-Superior Chorale and guest singers, as well as the Lake Superior College Concerto Choir under the direction of Cal Metts.
