Give to CSS Day

Give to CSS Day is The College of St. Scholastica’s annual day of giving. It’s 24-hour community effort to support local students and keep a St. Scholastica education strong and accessible for generations to come. Early giving opens February 19 at go.css.edu/givetocssday, and every gift helps Duluth students learn, grow, and give back to their community.

Supply Drive for Carlton County Animal Rescue

H&R Block Rep. Meagen Csomos, along with 1 rep in Cloquet have joined to collect supply donations for Carlton County Animal Rescue. Most needed items: Purina dry Kitten and Cat food, sturdy dog leashes, hard dog chew toys (Kong, Nylabone), wire dog kennels, paper towels, copy paper, potty pads. American Voices: Celebrating 250 Years of American Choral Music

Concert celebrating the rich variety and diversity of people, perspectives and musical styles that have shaped 250 years of American choral music, feature the UW-Superior Chorale and guest singers, as well as the Lake Superior College Concerto Choir. The program will feature works by composers Randall Thompson, Morten Lauridsen, and Samuel Barber, among others. It will also include a choral arrangement of Paul Simon’s American Tune; an arrangement of a Lakota lullaby by Linthicum-Blackhorse; and the spiritual Ain’a That Good News. The performance will feature the UW-Superior Chorale and guest singers, as well as the Lake Superior College Concerto Choir under the direction of Cal Metts.
