UWS Percussion Ensemble

The University of Wisconsin-Superior Percussion Ensemble will explore the rich tradition of xylophone in American ragtime music. Other varied musical riches will be explored including avant garde percussion ensemble works by Lou Harrison and William Russell, a musical portrait of color and light in David Gillingham’s Stained Glass, and Optical Course, a new work by UW-Superior Professor of Percussion, Brett Jones.
