Virtual Art Auction to Benefit Carlton County Animal Rescue

A virtual spring art auction to benefit the Animal Rescue is available online at https://shorturl.at/tICwC through 5/16. Every item purchased by the winning bidder at 5/16/2025 at 6:30pm, will help support our Building a Foundation campaign, with our current 2-1 match for every donation coming in, up to 99,000! Help us continue to expand our capacity to help our local animals in need.

Lake Superior Estuarium open

The Lake Superior Estuarium is a gateway to the headwaters of the Great Lakes. Beautiful interactive displays tell stories of the St. Louis River Estuary, Lake Superior, and the communities on their shores. The exhibit hall includes a play area for young children, maps to orient you to the largest estuary on Lake Superior, and information to help you get out and explore.

Gender Joy Art Show reception

Join YWCA Duluth as they put on their 2nd Annual Gender Joy Art Show to showcase artwork created by girls, women and gender-expansive folks! This year’s show will be held at Zeitgeist from May 2-31 with an opening reception on Friday, May 9 from 5-7pm. YWCA Duluth hopes to illustrate the importance of expressing our genders freely, publicly and without apology!
