Learn to Fish/Fishing for Dinner

FREE but registration required. Learn to catch, harvest and cook fish at a 3-session workshop in Superior, Wis. Topics cover everything from knot-tying and casting to fish identification and fish cookery. The mix of indoor and outdoor activities are for people over the age of 15. Sponsored by the Wisconsin DNR and Wisconsin Sea Grant.

AICHO Food & Art Market

Join AICHO as we host the first of three community Food and Art Markets on Saturday, July 22, August 12, and September 16 from 9 am - 12 pm in the large parking lot located at 231 W. 2nd Street (across the street from AICHO). This year we have 37 vendors registered! We will also have fun cultural (free) activities that the whole family will enjoy! In our efforts to bring justice and healthy foods to our local food systems and community - EBT and SNAP benefits will be accepted for healthy food produce (does not apply for hot & ready to eat food) in which people will receive $30 worth of food for $10 with SNAP/EBT payment. Bayfield Art Escape

“Art Escape” is a nine-day celebration of all things art across Bayfield County and Madeline Island held September 9-17, 2023. There are workshops, classes and demonstrations happening all week at various locations across Bayfield County and Madeline Island. Kicking off the 9-day event is the Bayfield Festival of Arts in Memorial Park along the shores of Lake Superior.

Search / Topaz 50th Anniversary Reunion Show

A rock band with horns, Search was formed in 1973 with seven guys from Duluth Central High School, covering tunes by Chicago, Blood Sweat & Tears, Grassroots, Ides of March, Crowe, JJ Jackson, LightHouse and Boz Scaggs. Search was a popular area band, playing high school dances, community club dances and teen dance hot spots. Topaz later formed with several former members from Search.
