'Grow More Farmers' fundraiser

The Lake Superior Sustainable Farming Association will host a raffle fundraiser at Bent Paddle Brewing Co. Taproom on Friday, July 21 from 3-6pm. They'll be celebrating the work they do to advance environmental stewardship, economic resilience and strong, diverse communities through farmer-to-farmer networking, education, demonstration and research.

Northshore Philharmonic Orchestra at Movies in the Park

The Northshore Philharmonic Orchestra will present a free pops concert Friday, 8 pm, July 21, at the Leif Erikson stage. Following the live concert, the big screen will show the 1971 classic, “Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” as part of Movies in the Park. If weather is unusually hot, windy, wet, or smoky, the orchestra will play nearby at First Lutheran, 1100 E Superior St.
