Julebyen Hidden Folk Trail

There have been signs of "hidden folk" along the trail starting at the Shilhon trailhead. Walk approximately 1 mile on a self-guided circular trail through the woods to learn about Scandinavian Folklore. At stops along the way you'll be able to read about Tomten, Trolls, Dwarves, Elves and Nisse and engage in nature-friendly activities.

Noon Year's Eve ZOOM Dance Party

Kids 2nd grade and younger are invited to celebrate the coming New Year at NOON instead of midnight! Dance your cares away with library staff and other families on Zoom. Use the fun props in your Noon Year’s Eve Family Party kit to dance, play, shake, and create while safe at home. Register for your kit and pick it up at the library before the event. Kits will have the party supplies for a family with up to 3 kids. The zoom link and password will be emailed to you the day before the event.
