Quilt-a-Thon (Making quilts for kids in crisis)

DOUGLAS COUNTY ASSOCIATION FOR HOME AND COMMUNITY EDUCATION (HCE) QUILT-A-THON Volunteers welcome! Bring a friend! (Come and help for whatever time you can spare.) Donations needed are 1. Sewing supplies 2. Juvenile fabrics 3. Flannel 4. Unfinished or finished quilts Donations of sewing notions will also be collected for Sewing Centers in Nicaragua. This is part of the Wisconsin Nicaragua Project, Wisconsin’s sister country. Raffle tickets available for the beautiful queen-sized quilt “Mother’s Garden” to be raffled on April 25, 2020 Need not be present to win. $1 a ticket Or 6 tickets for $5.

Join us on a winter's evening to work on projects (knitting, spinning, woodcarving~your choice) enjoy conversations, participate in Nordic trivia and perhaps a song or two.
