Join us for our free MLK community breakfast program on January 20 at 7 am. The theme is “Give us the Ballot and we will transform the South." The breakfast will feature a program, and a live-stream broadcast of Minneapolis’s MLK Celebration featuring Eric Holder, former attorney general who is currently focused on issues of redistricting and gerrymandering and how they affect voting rights.

Join us as we gather at 10:00am at Washington Center on January 20. Theme is “Give us the Ballot." Free snacks and hot beverages will be served. At 10:45 am, we will have a few words from our NAACP Branch. We will march off promptly at 11 am. The route is from Washington Center through downtown to the DECC where our MLK Rally will commence at 12 pm.

Join us at our 2020 MLK Rally on Jan. 20 at 12 pm. Our theme is centered on King’s “Give us the Ballot and we will transform the South” speech. Our Keynote Speaker is Autumn Brown. There will be performances and Drum Major for Peace Awards will be presented. Children’s activities, a selfie photo booth, & vendors too.
