NWCSA WIC Program of Douglas County, Wisconsin has partnered with Superior YMCA to provide a breastfeeding class, free of charge, to local residents. Class participants will receive a light meal (bagels, spread, fruit, or soup) and an educational breastfeeding related item. Pregnant women, their partners and support persons, and currently breastfeeding women are encouraged to attend.

Featuring UW-Superior’s Jeffrey Madison, senior lecturer of voice and music history, and Alexander Sandor, senior lecturer of piano and class piano. The audience will be treated to a fun and informative concert featuring an exploration of comedic songs and virtuoso stride piano solos by Fats Waller, as well as a sampling of early American art songs that show the zeitgeist of the era during which ragtime evolved.
