St. Croix & Brule Headwaters Snowshoe

Explore the headwaters of the St. Croix and Bois Brule Rivers on a group snowshoe hike along the North Country National Scenic Trail. The two mile walk will pass through the cedar bog in the Brule River State Forest where the two rivers begin. Participants should bring snowshoes, poles, water and snacks, and dress warmly. Snowshoes may be rented from Superior Adventures at UW-Superior, 715-395-4651.

Yeti Hunt 2023

Follow clues to a Duluth park to find the hiding Yeti! Take a picture of/with the Yeti and tag us on social media (or email to parks@duluthmn.gov) to be entered in a prize drawing. Clues will be released hourly on our social media starting at 10 a.m. Saturday (final clue at 3 p.m. will reveal the location of the Yeti, and the Yeti will remain in place until Sunday evening).
