Sanctus Series: Quartet for the End of Time

Olivier Messiaen composed this historic and iconic work while he was imprisoned at a German work camp during World War II. Using the musicians and instruments at hand, it was performed for the guards and prisoners for the first time in the camp. Join us as Erin Aldridge, violin, Byron Klimek, cello, Ted Schoen, clarinet, and Teresa Vaughan piano, recreate that historic performance.
