New displays draw from the breadth of the society's collection; galleries including Veteran's Memorial Hall, Immigrant Waiting Room, J.C. Ryan Forest History Room, Lake Superior Ojibwe Gallery and Depot Square will be open to tour. Music by Laura Velvet & The Bookhouse Boys and Steve Solkela's Overpopulated One-Man Band. Ken Buehler is the night's emcee. Free appetizers and cash bar.

Big, bombastic and beautiful, the Bill Berguson Band plays clean, tight, original music that ranges from classic rock anthems to contemplative instrumentals.
