Ninth Annual Dr. Willard A. Palmer Festival

Willard A. Palmer III will discuss accordion evolution and explain the Contino connection that inspired Palmer-Hughes Accordion Method books. Concerts by Dance Attic: Susi and Jimi, Joanna Darrow, Dee Langley, and Paul Vargason. Discussion on composing and arranging music for accordion by Megumi Hada. Plus performances by the World Accordion Music Band conducted by Tracey Gibbens.

World Accordion Day Festival

Live-music accordion festival. Music and lectures will be ongoing from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM with refreshments available. Large concert hall allows for 6’ seating distances; masks required. $75 per day, or $125 for the first two days. Many performances live-streamed on AWAM’s Facebook and YouTube channels; links and schedules will be posted soon on Facebook page.
