Karla Lara, Feminist Singer from the Honduran Resistance

Witness for Peace Midwest is excited to host Karla Lara, a well-known feminist singer and organizer from the Honduran resistance, and virtuoso jazz musician, pianist and composer José Antonio Velásquez. Their songs will address the struggle for justice, the legacy of Berta Cáceres, the struggle for territorial autonomy, and the fight against the extractive model of development.
