Free Quilting Class

Learn from an expert how to create beautiful quilt patterns. Sewing machines are provided. Fabric, batting and backing fabric are free. Quilts will be donated to people with low incomes. Everyone welcome! Heading south on Grand Avenue a couple blocks past Spirit Mountain, you’ll see the A-frame church building on the left. Or call 218-727-8940 for free rides!

The River Talks

River Talks: What Tourism Means for the River. River Talks is an annual free, informal speaker series about the St. Louis River Estuary in Duluth-Superior and a cooperative project between the Wisconsin and Minnesota Sea Grant programs and the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve.
