The Duluth Civic Orchestra presents a free concert featuring five works written in defiance: a symphony broadcast at enemy lines during the siege of Leningrad, a suffragette anthem conducted from prison with a toothbrush, a banned dance smuggled into a concert hall. Music that refused to be silenced.

The DCO is a community orchestra of more than 50 musicians of all ages and backgrounds. We've been bringing free concerts to Duluth since the 1980s — because we believe live orchestral music belongs to everyone.
