Wisconsin Point Spotted Knapweed Pull
Volunteer Opportunity - come join us on Wisconsin Point this summer to remove spotted knapweed!
Spotted knapweed is a prolific non-local plant that, when widespread, can prevent native plants from growing and decrease the biodiversity of the habitat.
On July 20th, community members of all ages are invited to Parking lot #1 on Wisconsin Point at 9am to support healthy ecosystems for local, native plants. No prior experience with knapweed is required. This event is hosted by the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve with support from the Friends of the Lake Superior Reserve.
See our Eventbrite page for more information and to sign up to volunteer!
