Counterglow Poetry Reading by Patricia Killelea
Xicana Irish-American poet Patricia Killelea reads poems from her recent publication Counterglow (Urban Farmhouse Press, 2019). From astronomy, counterglow is a faint light in the dark night sky made of interplanetary dust. Patricia’s lyric poems speak from this place of darkness, seeking some kind of brightness to cling to, however faint.
Patricia Killelea is a poet and digital media artist, and Assistant Professor of English and Native American Studies at Northern Michigan University. Alongside her will be readings from local poets Adeline Wright, Karl Schroeder, and Allen Killian-Moore.
