Intergrated Pest Management (IPM) is an environmentally sensitive, science-based approach that manages pests by combining biological, cultural, physical and chemical tools to minimize risks to human health and the environment. It focuses on long term prevention through monitoring and identification using pesticides as a last resort. Master Gardener Allyson Bergman will provide an introduction.
