Robbie LaFleur's Stories in Tapestry
Robbie LaFleur is an award-winning textile artist working in the Norwegian Billedvev, or woven pictures style. Robbie uses brilliant colors and keen observation to capture a rural church, its people, environment and central role in the Scandinavian-American immigrant life. Gallery Talk Sat., Oct. 1st at 2 pm. Robbie will share insights into the design process behind these and other tapestry woven textiles.
