Jim Pratt of Duluth will tell the story of one of the least known but most pivotal moments of the Civil War, the Breakthrough at Petersburg. Jim’s great-grandfather, Robert Pratt, along with his CO Charles Gould, were instrumental in the breaking of the Siege of Petersburg and hastening the conclusion of the war 10 days later at Appomattox.
