Why we wear Red?
The Red in “Red Run” symbolizes the two core values Chief Matt Frantz believed in —firefighting and increasing awareness about heart health through a healthy lifestyle. Wear as much red as possible to support the memory of Chief Frantz & Randy Hiti and to promote a heart-healthy community. Let’s paint the town red in runners! Be creative, wear red, and have fun!
New this year!
Red Run Fun Run, an obstacle course designed for the young firefighters in your family. The cost is $10 and will be held after the 5k at 11 AM.
Register before July 17th to guarantee your t-shirt size. Registrations after July 17th and t-shirts will be provided on a first come first basis.
Night before packet pickup is available, Friday July 27th 5-7 PM at Rice Lake Fire Station 1
Registration and Packet Pick-Up: 8 AM-9:00 AM
Race Start: 9:30 AM
Awards, food, music, and raffle prize drawings following the 5k and Fun Run
