Northland Grandmothers for Peace Holiday Gift Drive

HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE: Northland Grandmothers for Peace are collecting gifts to promote peaceful play and creativity. We are seeking donations of new art supplies and new (or gently used) books for children and youth from Nov. 21 to Dec. 19, 2025. Please check the Reader website for specific locations in Duluth and Superior, WI to drop off donations.

Carlton County Animal Rescue - Stock the Shelves

Carlton County Animal Rescue’s STOCK THE SHELVES campaign has been extended! It is happening now through December 24th at KJ's Fresh Market in Moose Lake. We’ve got a LONG winter ahead of us with lots of hungry little mouths to feed. Help us get stocked with all the items we desperately need, see list below, along with the Amazon and WalMart QR codes.

Carlton County Animal Rescue Adoption

Carlton County Animal Rescue will be at the indoor farmers market at the Moose Lake Covenant Church, 700 5th St. Moose Lake from 9 am to 2 pm with adoptable animals and rescue staff who can answer your questions about adoption, volunteering and fostering.
