Urban Spaces & Third Places

Imagine a favorite urban place, maybe it’s in Superior or maybe it’s in another city you have visited. What makes it special? This talk, by Dr. Jennifer D. Webb, associate professor of art history at the University of Minnesota Duluth, invites you to not only reflect on your own sensory experiences of beloved urban spaces, but also will highlight key principles of placemaking that make those spaces successful.
