Join us for Head of the Lakes United Way's Day of Caring on Wednesday, June 10th! Day of Caring is a community-wide event where hundreds of volunteers complete projects for local non-profit agencies. Volunteering is a direct and hands-on effort to help advance the missions of these local organizations. Not only does Day of Caring provide non-profits with valuable resources.Recruit your friends!

Volunteer with the Lake Superior Reserve in our Estuarium (estuary + museum)! Interested volunteers only need to attend one session.
The Estuarium, located on Barker’s Island, is a free exhibit hall with information about and interactive maps of the St. Louis River Estuary and the Lake Superior Reserve. There is also a play area for children.

Skills covered will include braking, body position, cornering, and more. Youth should know how to ride a pedal bike, and all equipment is provided (including bikes and helmets!).
