Youth Photo Club (Session 1 of 4)

This monthly educational session is open to any 13+ youth wanting to express themselves creatively through photography. Club meetings include field trips, individual and group projects, short info sessions, one-to-one skill development, and discussion of each other's work. Participants are allowed to use any type of camera, including their phones.

'Her Place in the Woods,' the life of Helen Hoover

Author David Hakensen will speak at the launch event for his new biography of nature writer Helen Hoover, "Her Place in the Woods." It chronicles the life of one of Minnesota’s most beloved nature writers, from her successful career in metallurgy in Chicago to her rustic cabin on Gunflint Lake where she made a living writing about nature.
