Stroll and shop the market, pause for a pint and some songs with John “Sonofmel” Adler said he “weaves far-ranging travels into storied songs.” The tunes from his 2017 record, Springtime in a Foreign City, range from somber to bouncy and are heavy with percussive acoustic guitar, subtle ethereal soundscapes, and a singing and speaking voice that can sound a lot like Johnny Cash.
