Lake Superior College Student Art Show

Lake Superior College’s student Fall Art Exhibit opens Monday, December 9, at noon with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. and runs through Wednesday, December 11. Students will present a variety of art, including watercolor, sculpture, jewelry, digital photography and drawing, painting, drawing, two and three-dimensional design projects, graphic design and ceramics with many of the works for sale.

Astro Bob: Full Moon Meteor Shower Madness

Duluth amateur astronomer and writer Bob King, also known as Astro Bob, will talk about the weird and wonderful things to watch for during the upcoming Full Moon and Geminid meteor shower. He'll also be signing and selling his latest book "Urban Legends from Space."
