Junior League Festival of Trees

The 2018 Junior League of Duluth (JLD) annual Festival of Trees at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center (DECC) is Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11. This event typically features over 170 vendors, JLD toffee, live entertainment, auction raffle baskets, decorated Christmas trees and photos with Santa.

Gingerbread Decorating Workshop

Gingerbread Decorating Workshop with Patrick the Gingerbread Man for the 7th Annual Pepperkakebyen at the Nordic Center. Pre-register by emailing Roseyrita@mac.com. The Gingerbread Village is Open Saturday & Sunday, Nov. 17-Dec. 8 with Nordic crafts 1-5pm. $5 suggested donation.

34th Infantry Red Bull Band

To honor our veterans, the St. Scholastica Concert Band presents a musical salute in collaboration with the Minnesota Army National Guard’s 34th Infantry Division “Red Bull” Band. This concert features music from our American heritage, including patriotic selections and folk songs.

Hunting in the North Woods: 2 One-Act Plays

"The Hunting Shack Anniversary Surprise" by Teddie Meronek is about a young woman who is tired of spending her hunting-season-wedding anniversary alone, so she decides to take her celebration to his hunting shack. "The Wild, Wild (Mid) West" by Kathy Laakso is a fast-paced farce about defying the rule of “no girls allowed.” “The Afternoon Buck Song,” written and performed by Ted Pellman, will precede the intermission.
