Apple Festival & Craft Fair

Come support your local small businesses! We will have many unique craft & food vendors on hand eager to help you start your Christmas shopping. Apple goodies galore (including our famous apple brats) and apple cider pressing demos throughout the day! Soup luncheon at 11 a.m. while supplies last.

Glensheen's Not So Scary Pumpkin Hunt Event

From Wednesday, October 24th – Wednesday, October 31st there will be 20 PUMPKINS HIDDEN throughout the mansion for kids (or kids-at-heart) to find during the week of Halloween. Making a tour at Glensheen a perfect not-so-scary Halloween activity for families. There’s even a fun prize at the end so you can declare your pumpkin-hunt mastery! Ruby's Pantry

Ruby's Pantry Food Distribution is every fourth Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Fond Du Lac Community Church just off of Hwy 23 about 1/2 mile before the Mont Du Lac Ski Hill. For only a $20 donation you get an abundance of food. Volunteers are also needed each month to help unload the truck and to help distribute the food.

Minnesota Remembers Vietnam

The public is invited to join the St. Louis County Historical Society for an evening of discussion on the Vietnam War. There will be a short clip of the PBS documentary “The Vietnam War” by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, a meal and conversation. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited so RSVPs are encouraged by calling 218-733-7586.
