Understanding the Impact of cutting SNAP Benefits

Hunger Solutions to host panel discussion June 28th from 5:30 - 7:30PM in the Zeitgeist Teatro! Zeitgeist Teatro Zuccone will be holding a FREE panel discussion about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as “food stamps”) to learn why we must protect this essential benefit and what you can do to ensure more Minnesotans don’t go hungry! Those attending will hear directly from hunger relief experts and SNAP beneficiaries about how proposed cuts to key federal safety net programs, including SNAP, will drastically reduce the amount of benefits available to our neighbors in need and drive up visits to a food shelf network already working at maximum capacity. Registration is required so make sure to follow Zeitgeist Zuccone’s Facebook page and sign up: facebook.com/ZeitgeistTeatro/ Contact: Madilyne Wegener, maddy@zeitgeistarts.com
