Thinking about paddling the St. Louis River Estuary? Join the St. Louis River Alliance for our River Orientation and Trip Planning event, on Thursday, August 21 from 5:30-7:30. We'll be at Morgan Park Community Center (1242 88th Ave W, Duluth). Whether you're a first-time paddler or a seasoned river explorer, this event will help you plan safe and successful outings on the St. Louis River Estuary National Water Trail. Collectively we'll practice selecting routes along the river and fill out a float plan. We'll cover essential topics such as route selection, trip flexibility, access points, gear recommendations, safety tips, and wind and weather conditions.
