Lakeside Community Folk Dance (canceled)
Spirit of the Lake Community School (SLCS) is hosting its first annual Lakeside Community Folk Dance. Inspired by traditional contra-dancing, this lively event is a unique form of line dancing, whereby dancers progress up and down a line, led by a caller who teaches the sequence of figures before the music starts. No experience? No worries! All levels of dancing experience are welcome to join the fun. Snacks and beverages available, extra food for purchase. Cost: Suggested donation of $12 in advance or $15 at the door. No one turned away based on inability to donate!
