Trump’s double standards
I think that it’s ironic when president trump says that Iran must not have nuclear weapons when so many other countries have them, why?
Russia is always saying that they’re going to use them on Ukraine but he doesn’t say anything about that and with China having them but he doesn’t say that they can’t have them either. As far Iran using them the only county that’s ever used them is us on Japan during world war two and now days it’s only Russia. Threatening to use them. I’m not saying that Iran should have any I don’t think that any county should have any I just wonder why it’s ok for some counties to have them and not others.
I still think that it wasn’t them but the oil that Trump started the war with them and he only used them as an excuse to declare war on them.

The Stagnant Basin
The marble frame holds tight a heavy green,
A choked expanse where sunlight cannot pass.
No sky is mirrored in this dark demesne,
Only the thick, unmoving carpet grass
Of waters left to rot beneath the glare,
While public statues guard the toxic floor.
A film of self-applause hangs in the air,
Locking the truth behind a rusted door.
No currents move to cleanse the rising silt,
No living springs disturb the quiet scum.
A monument built on pride and guilt,
Where honest whispers instantly go numb.
Beneath the surface of the grand design,
The choking weeds of wild ambition grow.
A mirror that refuses to align
With any light the heavens might bestow.
The grand facade demands a golden state,
But water tells the truth of what remains:
A pool confined by vanity and hate,
Fed only by the heavy summer rains.
It sits unchanged, a dark and murky bowl,
Too thick for any beauty to endure.
The slick, green surface of a troubled soul,
That fears the depth of what is clean and pure.
