Cruel and unusual trump

President trump says that he wants to bring back the firing squad execution and increase executions. I suppose that he’ll want to start them with people who he thinks wrong him or he doesn’t like. Even if it’s all in his mind. After all he’s bringing charges back for several people that they were thrown out. 

Then another reason that it’s wrong is that people who have been on death row for years are cleared thanks to DNA testing that proves they were innocent or something else comes up proving they were inocent but if trump gets his way the real person will get away with it because the innocent person will have been executed.

I also think that it’s cruel and unusual punishment.

MAGA reverses life

Government serves no higher purpose than improving the lives and safety of the least among us. It starts at the bottom, and works its way up. Otherwise, it’s not government. It’s slavery. 

In order of urgency: air, water, food, shelter and reproduction are the five bases of most life. Clean air is vital (not the junk we end up breathing in cities).  Two or three minutes without air, people begin dying. 

Water is next, taking 2 or 3 days. Food next, 2 or 3 weeks. Shelter (clothing) depends on conditions. And reproduction, 2 or 3 generations skipped and our species begins dying off.

Government’s purpose is to keep people from dying off. I think every other species has similar rules and constraints evolved through millions of years, or 6,000 years if you believe the unsanctifiable writings of desert hermits and ascetes.

We rescue our downed soldiers at all costs. Why wouldn’t we also rescue our downed fellow beings, whose existence is just as important, but who have no guns or uniforms? We care for someone with a broken leg, so they can heal. We share food, water, shelter, with those hungry, and those without. We work our way up, maybe helping a small struggling business survive, then thrive, helping us all in the end. We work our way up, helping millionaires and billionaires the very last, if at all. Not first. 

But these are not MAGA’s views; they have the exact opposite views, dictated from their president.
MAGA, capitalism, corporatism, are extreme opposites of a society attempting to bring life to itself. Stupidity, ignorance and selfishness tries reversing the order of the natural world: Nature. Mother Nature wins every time. 

How much humiliation and suffering will we allow MAGA to inflict in order to support it’s “fraud, theft and abuse”?
