Politics is messy, only if you lie

It’s way past time for ‘Americans’ to stop rehearsing being just plain stupid.  The alleged president gave a panicky sales pitch last night (12-18-25) to lie about his hand in ruining the U.S. economy. Hopefully few people watched any of this lying hallucinatory nonsense.
What startled me most was that some poll claimed solid U.S. citizens, presumably mostly not insane, by a slight margin trusted MAGA-Republicans more to improve our economy. 
Where did this idea come from? Certainly not from attending school or from their responsibility as U.S. citizens keeping informed about current events!
There’s a long history of Democrats bailing out U.S. economies after Republicans ruined them. Republican President Hoover’s Republicans brought us the 1929 stock market crash. 
Result?  Great Depression!   
Democrat Franklin Roosevelt pulled us up and out by taxing the rich plenty.  
Republican Reagan’s failures are too complicated to explain here.   
Next, Republican GW Bush handed over his banking and insurance fraud mess, so badly corrupted that the U.S. economy was expected to completely fail over a weekend, and take the world economy down with us. 
Democrat President Obama pulled us out. (And gave us ObamaCare/ACA to boot!)
Then six-time bankrupt MAGA-Republican trump, in the worst presidential mass malfeasance and failure in U.S. history, crashed our U.S. economy by using the corvid-19 pandemic to build a MAGA Party, rather than saving an estimated 800,000 lives. The expected economic crash threatened to make millions homeless.  

trump handed his mess to Democrat President Biden, who loaned Americans money to stay afloat and in their homes.  Of course loans then must be repaid.  That was the Biden “inflation” effect!  
Biden’s economic skills were the world’s envy, all except for MAGA followers. And now MAGA-Republican trump is crashing our economy again! 
My grocery prices have not — repeat —have not gotten lower.

Wormy Bobby is out of his depth

Once again under the present administration you don’t have to be qualified for you to be head of a important department. You just have to be a yes person to president Trump.
Take RFK Jr he isn’t a doctor or know anything about medicine except that he doesn’t believe in vaccines.  His latest remarks about nurses not being essential workers shows how little he knows.  anyone that’s been to a hospital knows how much they do and are more important to patients then the doctors.

After hearing about over 200 cases so far this year of the measles which could be prevented by the vaccine or that so far 2 children have died from COVID-19 and the flu and it’s still early in the season.  How many more are going to die that don’t need to if they get vacinated. Or how many people are going to die because they cut out funding for research including his cousin.  It’s scary to think about it.

Other departments are the same being run by unqualified people just because they are yes people.

Trump’s moral cowardice is plain in the Epstein saga

Donald Trump’s silence on the Epstein files is not mysterious. It is damning.
This is a man who built an entire political brand on accusation, innuendo and theatrical outrage. He has never hesitated to smear opponents, judges, journalists or entire institutions without evidence.
Yet when confronted with the single most disturbing scandal involving elite power, sexual abuse and systemic protection in modern American history, Trump suddenly pleads disinterest. The self-proclaimed truth-teller goes mute.
That silence should alarm every American.
Jeffrey Epstein did not traffic children in isolation. His crimes were facilitated by wealth, access and powerful connections. Any leader with even a shred of moral credibility would be demanding the full, unredacted release of every document, every name, every record. Trump has done the opposite: deflect, minimize, change the subject. He knows exactly how to stoke public fury — and exactly when to shut it down.

This is not leadership. It is cowardice.
Trump’s followers are told, endlessly, that shadowy elites control everything, that justice is rigged, that only Trump can expose the truth. But when the truth threatens the powerful — including people he socialized with, protected or benefited from — the outrage vanishes. Conspiracies are encouraged only when they are useful. Transparency is demanded only when it is safe.

Victims deserve better than this grotesque hypocrisy. So does the public. Trump’s refusal to demand full disclosure is not neutrality; it is complicity in a culture of impunity that protects predators and buries accountability.
If Trump truly had nothing to hide, he would be shouting for sunlight. Instead, he hides behind noise, grievance and distraction. Americans should recognize that pattern by now.
The Epstein files represent a test of moral seriousness. Donald Trump has failed it — loudly, obviously and disgracefully.
