Minnesota Ballet’s production of Adolphe Adams’ two-act ballet, first performed in Paris in 1841. Giselle, a young peasant, falls in love and when it doesn’t work out, she dies from heartbreak, but her ghost is summoned to commit revenge by dancing her lover to death.
