International Overdose Awareness Day

Annual event to honor the lives of those lost to overdose. Live music from Elsa Krantz and Laura Hugo, drum circle, free food and drinks, games, resources from local orgs, speakers, and community. Blankets and lawn chairs encouraged.

USS Wisconsin Keel Laying Watch Party

A yet-to-be completed ballistic submarine, the third U.S. Navy vessel named after the cheesehead state, gets a traditional ceremony symbolizing the transition from design to reality. The event takes place in Rhode Island but there are five watch parties around Wisconsin.
